      Maṇdala of Amitāyus with consort

In Tibetan life, maṇdalas are used to decorate and sanctify temples and homes, in initiation rites for monks and rulers, as the focus of visualization by the clergy and of worship by lay followers, as well as in such specified roles as a support for the corpse in cremation.(From『MANDARA』by Denise Patry Leidy and Robert A.F.Thurman)

This Maṇdala is for long life. In the center Amitāyus is sitting with a pot of medicine for long life.
